Dr. Daniel Waintraub



Dr. Daniel Waintraub – is a fellowship trained Gastroenterologist. Originally from New Jersey, he received his undergraduate degree in biology from Yeshiva University with the distinctive honor of Summa Cum Lauda. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City. Subsequently he worked as an attending hospitalist at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. He went on to complete a gastroenterology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He has a special interest and expertise in advanced endoscopy techniques, liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and esophageal disorders. Dr. Waintraub and his wife, also a physician, moved to Florida with their two sons after completing their medical training.
